THE SPEAKERS
Charles Stolfus

Charles is Executive Pastor for Theology and Ministry Support at Denton Bible Church in Denton Texas where he has served for the last 10 years. He is the director of a Theological Institute there and also has other additional teaching roles throughout the Church. In addition, he serves as an assistant to the senior Pastor Tommy Nelson.
Charles was born in southern California but moved to Denton Texas to attend the University of North Texas (then NTSU) on a Jazz trombone scholarship. While at UNT he played lead trombone in the famed 1:00 Lab Band. While in Denton he attended Denton Bible Church and was heavily influenced by the ministry of its Senior Pastor Tommy Nelson and his yearlong intensive discipleship program called the “Young Guns.” Upon graduation and completing the Young Guns program he attended Dallas Theological Seminary and received his ThM. in Historical Theology. He then came on staff at Denton Bible to start a Theological Institute that he now directs. He also enjoys regularly participating in on-campus Debates at the university of North Texas with Professors and invited guests on the Creation/Evolution controversy as well as other topics like Homosexuality, Gay Marriage, etc.
He is happily married to his wife Melanie and enjoys his 4 children, Megan (18), Lance (11), Luke (7) and Leah (3). He enjoys teaching Apologetics, Theology and Bible Overviews as well as reading in a wide range of subjects.

Eddie L. Green

Eddie is an Elder and Adult Bible Fellowship Leader at New Life Bible Church in Gainesville Texas where he and his lovely wife Ann have been members since its inception in 1999. Eddie has always been involved in science since entering school. He just retired from a 41 year career teaching science and administration in Texas public schools. Eddie taught Physical Science, Biology, and especially Chemistry for Irving ISD for 14 years. He then became Secondary Science Coordinator for Irving from 1978-82. He then entered school administration for the next 11 years. He finished his career at Muenster Public schools teaching Anatomy & Physiology, Physics, Environmental Science and junior high science until 2006. Eddie has a B.S. and an M.S. in science education.
In 1980, He discovered that he had been terribly misled in school by the theory of evolution and tried to make his science training mesh with what he had learned in church. After years of trying to meld his Christian faith and humanistic evolution, he turned his life toward Creation science and has presented such to church youth groups and adult seminars. Eddie is absolutely committed to the fact that the origin of the universe is accurately presented in God’s Word. He now is convinced that naturalistic evolution is a bankrupt idea and should never be presented to young people in school as fact, but only as a theory.
